Best Dry Cleaning Software 2026: An Honest Comparison for the US, UK and Ireland

There is no single best dry cleaning software. A two-person drop shop in Dublin, a conveyor plant in Texas and a franchise group in India need different things. This roundup covers the systems English-speaking dry cleaners ask about most, and says plainly who each one fits.

How we compiled it: features and prices come from each vendor's own website, and ratings come from Capterra or G2 as of October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish prices, we say so. We make Cleandy. It is included, but it is not ranked first, and its weaknesses are listed alongside everyone else's.

US and International Options

CleanCloud

Best for: dry cleaners and laundromats that want pickup and delivery, customer apps and marketing in one system.

CleanCloud says 5,000+ laundromats and dry cleaners use it, and it publishes prices by country. In the US, Lite (500 orders a month), Pro (2,000) and Grow (3,000) cost $89, $109 and $169 a month billed annually, or $99, $129 and $189 month to month. UK prices billed annually are £60, £70 and £115. Pro adds delivery, route optimization, a driver app, lockers, heat-seal tags and assisted assembly; Grow adds auto assembly and API access. It runs on PC, Mac, iOS and Android, sends notifications by SMS, email, push and WhatsApp, and connects to QuickBooks and Xero.

Trade-offs: plans are capped by orders (you can go over, and an account manager will talk to you about upgrading), onboarding is a separate cost, and SMS credits are an optional extra. See our CleanCloud alternative comparison.

SMRT Systems

Best for: US plants with conveyors, assembly and route delivery.

SMRT is a cloud-based POS that runs on Mac or Windows, with assisted assembly, a direct Metalprogetti integration for conveyors, baggers and kiosks, route optimization, a driver app, autopay and an optional marketing "Power-Up". Its Capterra score of 4.9 from 117 reviews is the highest among the production-focused systems here.

Trade-offs: pricing is not published on its site; Capterra lists a starting price of $75 per user per month and no free trial. More in our SMRT Systems alternative guide.

Geelus

Best for: low-volume shops, alteration specialists and anyone who needs offline mode.

Geelus runs in a browser or on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, and keeps working offline. Even Starter includes integrated payments, a customer app and pickup and delivery with routing. Starter covers 50 orders a month, Small 250, and Medium (from $109 a month billed annually in the US) is unlimited.

Trade-offs: volume caps on the cheaper plans, separate subscriptions for each extra store, and SMS charged per text. See our Geelus alternative guide.

Xplor Spot

Best for: established US dry cleaners, including multi-store operators, who want a long-standing vendor.

Spot is now part of the Xplor Group, and FabricareSystems is now part of Xplor Spot. Its website lists pickup and delivery, automated email and SMS, garment photo capture, integration with production automation tools and a free barcode printing service. Its Capterra profile says the team has served the industry since 1991.

Trade-offs: no published pricing and a demo-led sales process. Ratings differ by site: G2 shows 4.7 from 16 reviews, Capterra 4.2 from 6.

Enlite POS

Best for: US cleaners who want smart lockers, LED-assisted rapid assembly and a white-label app.

Enlite describes itself as a cloud-based POS for dry cleaners, laundromats, alteration and shoe repair shops, with routing, two-way messaging, loyalty and no long-term contracts.

Trade-offs: pricing is by quote, and enlitepos.com now redirects to a Dark POS page, so ask how the two products relate before you sign.

Quick Dry Cleaning Software

Best for: multi-store groups and franchises, especially where customers order on WhatsApp.

Quick Dry Cleaning Software, from DC Web Services in India, says it runs in 5,000+ locations across 22 countries, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia. It offers WhatsApp automation, branded customer apps, an Android rider app and payment gateways such as Stripe, Square and PayPal.

Trade-offs: a free plan covers 100 orders a month, but paid plans are usage-based and only quoted on request.

UK and Ireland EPOS Options

DryStream

Best for: UK shops that want a dedicated dry cleaning EPOS with hardware they own.

DryStream has supplied EPOS systems to dry cleaners and launderers since 1993. Its TOUCH systems come with touchscreen hardware, and you buy outright or finance over 3 or 5 years, with £159 down for UK customers (terms and VAT apply). It promises "no compulsory on-going charges": no licensing, hosting or activation fees, and free telephone support for UK customers. Text messaging is included with new TOUCH systems, and there is a conveyor interface for brands such as Metalprogetti.

Trade-offs: system prices are not published, and free telephone support applies to UK customers only, which matters for shops in Ireland.

XE Clean by XEPOS

Best for: UK shops that want an established general EPOS supplier with a dry cleaning system.

XE Clean lists individual garment tickets (including dot-matrix wet ticket printers), garment tracking, email and SMS reminders, barcode and heat-seal printer support, customer accounts, loyalty, and alterations and repairs. XEPOS says it has spent six years working with businesses in the sector.

Trade-offs: the page advertises "all-in-one point of sale systems from £149" without spelling out what the dry cleaning package costs, so get a written quote. The Capterra rating covers XEPOS as a whole, which is mostly retail and hospitality.

Cleandy: Where It Fits and Where It Doesn't

Best for: counter-based dry cleaners who want WhatsApp receipts and a fixed yearly price.

Cleandy is cloud-based and runs in any browser on a computer, tablet or phone. It comes from the team behind Hamarat, which has served 600+ stores since 2002. Orders are entered garment by garment from 140+ pre-defined items, with stain location and notes, a printed label for every piece and a daily cash report. On every plan, a WhatsApp receipt goes to the customer as soon as an order is saved (one message uses one credit; new accounts get 1,000 free credits).

Plans are billed yearly (+ VAT): Starter $248 (1,000 receipts a month, 2 users), Professional $331 (3,000 receipts, 4 users, product photos including damage photos) and Enterprise $415 (5,000 receipts, unlimited users, 2 branches, mobile owner screen). There is a 15-day free trial with no credit card. See the dry cleaning software page and pricing.

Trade-offs: Cleandy's site does not list conveyor or assembly integration, route optimization, integrated card processing, heat-seal tags, SMS campaigns or accounting integrations. It is a newer product, and its Capterra listing has no reviews yet. For a US production plant, SMRT, Spot or CleanCloud is the better fit.
